Most bathrooms in Orange County don't need to be torn down to the studs. They need a new tile floor, a vanity that isn't from 1985, a decent mirror and light, fresh paint, and someone who finishes the baseboard. That's the bathroom refresh I do, and a powder room usually takes a few days.

Ceramic, porcelain and patterned encaustic-look tile for bathroom floors. I prep the subfloor, lay it level with tight grout lines, and finish the edges with new baseboard so there's no gap. If the old floor is water-damaged I replace the subfloor first.

A new mirror and light fixture change a bathroom more than people expect. I install round and framed mirrors, vanity lights and sconces, towel bars, hooks and paper holders, and make sure everything is level and anchored.
Wainscot or board-and-batten on the lower wall with paint above is a classic look that hides a lot of old wall damage. I build it, caulk it, and paint the whole room so it reads as one finished job.
Subway tile, mosaic, hex and patterned backsplashes behind kitchen counters and bathroom vanities. Cut clean around outlets and windows, grouted and sealed.
A soft spot in front of the tub usually means the subfloor is gone. I pull the floor, replace the subfloor, and tile or lay waterproof plank over it. I also remove old shower doors and install new ones.
